Messy Babies

Carter doesn't like eating finger food, so I thought that maybe if I bought the pre-made baby food that had a little texture in it I could slowly get him to get some finger food. So yesterday I bought a few jars of the Stage 3 food. I feed Emma and Carter a jar of what they called lasagna last night, it had a few little pieces of pasta in it.
Emma loved it and got most of it in her mouth!

Carter on the other hand, loved the sauce part, but spit out every little piece of pasta! Notice his nice little pile of spit out pasta on his bib! He's such a goof ball!

But he was so damn proud of himself!

Big Boy

I can't believe how fast the babies are growing. Carter now has 2 teeth (not that he wants to use them at ALL! He still only likes super liquidy food, nothing with texture at all!).

If you look closely you can see his 2 new bottom teeth!

 Carter is also so determined to try to crawl! He is always up on all fours rocking back and forth. He usually only makes it one move forward before falling down, but he keeps on trying!

Weekly Weigh in

I lost 2.5 pounds this week, bringing my total weight loss to 40.5 pounds. I'm so excited to finally hit the 40 pounds lost mark. This week I've exercised every single night after the kids all have gone to bed. I have not wanted to exercise at all, but I've made myself. I only need to lose 29.5 pounds to reach my original goal of 70 pounds. I think now I'd like to try to aim for 90-100 pound weight loss come next January.

I hit a rough patch a few weeks ago, but now feel like I'm back where I need to be mentally.

Movie Night

Last night we decided to have a family movie night. Cole covered the floor with blankets and pillows, popped some popcorn, and we all laid down and watched How to Train Your Dragon.

 

The kids lasted 40 minutes before they all needed to go to bed, but we did have fun while it lasted!
