Clearance Gnomes

Today I ran into Target to grab diapers and wipes, while there I caught wind that their Halloween stuff was 90% off. Grace and us made our way over to the Halloween section, I assumed that nothing would be left, but was happy to see lots of costumes left. I got all the kids each a Halloween shirt for next year for $0.46 a piece. I also scored these costumes for Carter and Emma for next year, each where $2.00!

I love a good sale and can't wait to see them in their costumes next year!

Bedding

I forgot to mention, I found Emma and Carter's coordinating bedding on ebay! I scored both 12 pieces set for $9 and $10. Yup 24 pieces for $19! You gotta love ebay! They haven't come yet, so I'll have to wait and see if I still like them as much in person.
I thought they were similiar enough to work together. They will probably share a crib for the first few weeks, then we'll separate them afterwards, but they'll stay in the same room.

Great Deals

I was having a bad day today, so when Cole got home he convinced me that we should get out. He knew that doing a little baby shopping would make me feel better. He gave me a $30 budget and we headed to the outlets. At Children's Place I managed to score these matching outfits and hats for Emma and Carter! I'm so excited for their 1st coordinating outfits!
And then I scored big at the Carter's Outlet. Carter's was having a huge 70% off sale. Here are a few of the outfits I got:

Plus I also got Emma a cute cupcake hoodie with matching pants and a cute onesie for Carter. Not to bad if I do say so myself!

This weekend I pulled out some of Grace's old baby clothes, my goodness she has a lot! We certainly have lots to buy for Carter. We only really need to buy more newborn clothes for Emma, I can only imagine she'll be smaller then Grace, so she'll really need the newborn clothes.

Twin Purchases

We finally made a few purchases for the twins, well 2 to be exact, and both of them are from Craigslist. Probably about a month ago I saw a listing for the Twin Nursing Pillow I wanted. The pillow normally runs around $50 and this woman had it listed for $15. We emailed back and forth and I found out she had boy/girl twins who were 2 years old. The woman offered to give me the twin clothes she had left over from her babies. I graciously excepted them, and the woman just gave them to me for free! So I got a barely used nursing pillow and a bag of nice Children's Place baby clothes all for $15. Yay!

This is what the nursing pillow looks like:

Then a week ago I searched Craigslist for a Double Snap N Go stroller for when the twins are infants. The stroller noprmally runs about $100 new and $40-$50 used. I saw one listed for $20 and jumped on it. So Sunday Cole and I went into the city and picked up the barely used stroller...double yay!

This is what the stroller looks like:

Every couple days I check Craigslist for other used items we need, like swings and bouncy seats. Cole's Aunt has informed us she has an extra crib we can use, which will be so helpful! Once we find out the sexes of the twins, which is hopefully a week from tomorrow, we'll go place a bunch of items we need on lay-away. Now, we are no where near being close to having everything we'll need for the twins, but it's a start, and a great one!

Gymboree

Yesterday, after we took Grace to the Doctor's because she's sick again, we stopped at Gymboree. They had a small clearance section in the back and I found 2 winter shirts for $1.99. I was excited with those finds, I continued to look around and the super nice sales woman asked if I wanted more fall/winter clothes. I said sure. She asked what sizes I was looking for and came back with tons of super cute cheap clothes. She said they just didn't have the room to display it all!

I ended up buying 1 jumper, 1 fleece vest, 1 sweater, 1 long sleeve shirt, 1 dress, 1 fall hat, 1 winter hat, mittens, 6 pairs of socks, and a pair of pants. The grand total was $28! I was super excited, especially because the original price of the sweater alone was $29.50! Grace is officially all set for fall and winter now!

The loot!

Thank you super nice sales woman!
