Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot

It was hot here Wednesday and Thursday, so after Grace's nap on Wednesday I took her and Em outside to play, while Carter continued to nap. I just had Grace play on our deck so I could plug in Carter's moniter and still hear him. I filled Grace's water table for the first time since last year. It's crazy how much bigger she has gotten since last summer..tear!

Em and I read our books, while Grace played. I read The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nestby Steig Larrson (which is going a lot slower for me then the first two in the series. Emma chose to read her book with family pictures in it!
Grace had a blast playing with the water table.
She was really hot so decided to continually dump water on herself!
Such a goof ball!
Apparently that wasn't cooling her off enough, so she tried to climb in instead.
After I told her she was to big to sit in the table, she did the next best thing...dunk her head in the table!
I guess we should get her a little kiddie pool here so she stops trying to drown herself in her water table to stay cool! In other water news, Grace will start swim lessons in a few weeks and I can't wait!

Yoga Baby

We have Comcast and on their OnDemand under kids they have an exercise section. Grace loves the yoga, she asks for it all the time, and is pretty good at it!

And yes she makes me take out my yoga mat for her!

And just because they are cute the twins:

I'm Back

I've been having a hard time lately sticking to my calories. I haven't done an awful job, I just haven't have a great job either. For the past week and a half every other day I've been having one bad meal. I haven't planned to do this, I've just been giving in to temptation. I haven't gained weight, but I haven't lost any either, well that's a lie I lost 0.7 pounds, but barely anything.

I think I re-found my inspiration and motivation and am back at it. I decided the other night that I need to amp up my exercise, so I've decided to make a drastic change so I have no more excuses. I am moving our kitchen table out of the kitchen and putting in it's place the treadmill, no more excuses! I guess we will be eatting lots of our dinners out on the porch from now on! I plan to get Cole to move the treadmill this weekend for me, so hopefully next week I will have a good number to report.

The numbers for now: 40.7 pounds lost, 29.3 more pounds to hit my first goal.

Capron Park Zoo

Yesterday we got everybody ready for the day, signed Grace up for swim lessons at the YMCA, then we all went to Capron Park Zoo. Our Buttonwood pass also gets us in there for free! We loved this zoo, it was cute, small, and clean!

The zoo also has a super cute splash pad! Next time we'll have to remember our bathing suits.
After the zoo we stopped home to grab some food to cook on the grill and then went to Grandma and Papa's house to swim and cook!

1,000 Post

Wow, this will be my 1,000 post since I started this blog back in 2007..just craziness! We had another great weekend! The kids hung out and all played together for a while.

Grace is such a goof!
Saturday we went to the Bridgewater Pizza Festival. It was a great little fundraiser for the library, and all the local pizza places brought in their cheese pizza and one specialty. At the end you voted on what was your favorite cheese and your favorite specialty. It was a lot of fun!
After Pizza Fest we went home to get Grace ready for her Dance pictures, I forgot to take picture of her all dressed up though.

Emma and Carter both sitting like big kids sharing toys!
And both babies down!
After Grace's pictures I bribed her with some ice cream. We hit up Hanson Farm. I got Grace a kiddie size ice cream, yes THAT is a kiddie size!
