Due date

Well our due date is finally here! I can't imagine still being pregnant right now, I'm pretty sure I would have lost my mind if I was pregnant.

Poor Miss Grace has a cold right now and is miserable, I feel so bad for her. Cole and I are taking turns staying up with her to make sure she keeps breathing. Grace is sleeping well during the day, but is up all night. Our princess also hates sleeping in her bed, she prefers to sleep on us and for our sanity we often let her, other wise we would get even less sleep then we are currently getting.

Plus some added pictures!

Crappy Blogger

Okay, so I've been a crappy blogger, but it's hard to do much of anything with a baby attached to your boob 24/7. We are all doing well and both Grace and I have a check up this week. Thought I would share some pictures for now!

Things I look forward to

Here's a list I have compiled of the things I look forward to (in no particular order):

1- Of course the first on the list is meeting Grace
2- Being able to fit into more than 2 shirts in my closet
3- Being able to bend at the waist
4- Being able to actually reach into the washing machine
5- Being able to actually leave the house
6- Being able to clean the house (yes, I do actually look forward to this. Cole tries really hard,
but he just doesn’t do it like I would)
7- Being able to actually use all the baby stuff we have
8- The fall, I can’t stand the heat
9- All things pumpkins and apples (muffins, lattes, pies)
10- Baking, I can’t wait to bake some good fall deserts
11- Being able to wear my wedding ring
12- Being able to see my feet and actually being able to paint them
13- Being able to shave my own legs
14- Not eating a whole bottle of Tums every week
15- Not being nauseous ALL the time!
16- Not having to vomit ALL the time!
17- Cole being able to sleep in bed with me again (although he may not want to once we have a
crying baby in there!)
18- Actually having something, more like someone, to keep me busy all day
19- Not over analyzing every little pain in my body, wondering is this it!
20- Labor, yes I do look forward to this!
21- Being a Mommy!
22- Watching Cole become a Daddy!

I'm sure I'll think of many more things to add to this list!

Eviction Notice

Dear tenant (Grace),
I am writing to let you know that you are no longer welcome in my uterus. You have cooked long enough, and now it is time to move out. The wild dance parties you have been enjoying in my belly are starting to cause problems for me, my bladder is not a punching bag, and your head is really hurting my cervix. You can make you departure short and sweet (just a reminder: my belly button is not an exit). Thank you for your cooperation, I have a bed all set up for you in your new house.
Love, Mom

36 weeks

So here we are 36 weeks, only 1 more week until Grace is full term and 4 until our due date. I can now officially say that we are due THIS month!

As far as updates, there really isn't any new news. I'm having contractions off and on, but nothing timeable and nothing overly painful. I'm just hoping that they start to do something real soon!

Baby Updates:
"Your baby is almost ready and most likely, so are you! The only organ still to mature is the lungs. While certainly you are both growing anxious to meet, remember that each day (up to 42 weeks), that your little one stays within your womb will multiply his chances to breathe on her own. If she hasn't already, this week your baby may drop into the birth canal. While breathing for mom becomes easier, walking may be the exact opposite! If she's not your first baby, this "lightening" may not occur until right before labor. Fat is dimpling your baby's elbows and knees, and forming creases in the neck and wrists. Her skin is growing smooth and, shall we say it, "baby" soft. Her gums are very rigid. It won't be many months before you'll see her teeth.
She has a fully developed pair of kidneys and her liver has begun processing some waste products. Your child's average size is now 18.66 inches (47.4cm) and 5.78 pounds (2622 g). Between now and birth she will gain about an ounce a day"

My new craving is bananas in ice cream. I love Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey..yum!
And tonight I had a banana split (minus the hot fudge, I don't really like hot fudge)
Well, that's it for now, hopefully Miss Grace will make her debut sooner than later!
