Sunday Funday

Sunday morning the kids were cranky, we are in the process of dropping the babies' morning naps, and they are taking a while to adjust, so we decided to change things up. I had Cole go outside and get the pool, wash and dry it, then bring it into the living and we filled it will ball pit balls. The kids loved it!
After nap time, yeah, we got the kids dressed in their Patriots gear, then went to the playground.
Emma loves to point at everything these days!
After the playground we came home and ate some yummy Pumpkin Chili and then I made a diet pumpkin cake for dessert. It was really simple, I just mixed a box of spice cake mix, a can of pumpkin, and a couple tablespoons of water, that's it. When it was done I made a simple cinnamon glaze with confectioner sugar, almond milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. It turned out so good and was only 220 calories for 1/12th of the cake!

Opening Day

The Red Sox opening day was last week and I remembered last minute, well because frankly I couldn't care less about it, but I know it's important to Cole, so I made an effort. Even though Cole was working late and wasn't around for it I still decided to dress the kids (well, 2 out of 3) in their Red Sox clothes and put on the game for Grace to watch. Thankfully after 20 minutes she was ready to watch something else, as was I!
"What do you mean I can't wear sandals with my socks?!"
Grace's "I wuv Red Sox" pose.
And because Grace is in love with yoga, she decided to strike a yoga pose!

Super Bowl

We went to Cole's Mom's house for the Super Bowl. Cole had to leave to go to hockey, but me and the kids stayed behind.

Cole's Mom made Grace her first fried dough...and she loved it (and she rocked a pony tail!)
Cole and Grace enjoying their fried dough...I will have you note I refrained myself and "stuck" to my diet and did not eat the fried dough. (I did however have a slice of homemade pizza, and a sausage in a roll, but made sure to stay within my calorie range.)
Grace loved the fried dough so much she tried to steal Cole's!
Emma and Carter played on the floor with Nana!
Grace also enjoyed some cheeseless pizza...Carter was wondering where he was!

Our little sports fans!

I love the way Carter is looking lovingly at Emma, while Emma is looking lovingly at the pizza!
Grace showing the babies her baby. I love that they are both like "Whoa..there's another one of us..crap!"

Lots of Blogging

I have lots of blogs to post and catch up on, but it's not going to happen today because I have another stomach bug, ugh! I've been feeling nauseous off and on for a few days and thought that maybe it might be a good sign as far as pregnancy goes, but last night I woke up and had to throw up a number of times. It's still pretty early in my cyle (day 25) to test, but I tested for the hell of it this morning, because I was so confused about getting another stomach bug, but thus far it's negative.

I still have to do Grace's 17 month update, and our Valentine's Day photos, which included Cole and mine's 1st date out since before Grace was born!

I also learned that Cole had misinformed me about the pool mileage and I've actually been swimming 1/2 mile, not 1/4 mile...yay! I haven't been to the gym in 2 days because I've felt so yucky, but I'm hoping to feel better tomorrow and hit it hard.

Hockey

This weekend Grace went to her first hockey game. Cole has been a high school goalie coach at Cohasset for 3 years and me and Grace haven't been able to make it to a game...oops! Well this weekend we made it to two! They lost both games, but at least we made it!

Bowling

We took Grace bowling for the first time ever Saturday. She had a blast! We only did one game just because she was getting sleepy. I did take lots of pictures though!
