Way Back When-endsday

In lieu of our move I thought I'd post a picture of our first apartment. It was in CT and we moved in when I was 19 and Cole was 20. It was a tiny attic apartment and I mean tiny! It only consisted of a bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom. No living room, no closets, and when we first moved in there was no bathroom door...yikes! But we were broke college kids and is was only $650 a month and that included utilities. When we went to see it the first time we left and we were like "no way!" but then after talking we decided we couldn't really afford anything else. We couldn't remember if there was a kitchen sink though, yes a kitchen sink. So I told Cole to call the landlord and ask if there was a sink, and if there was then we'd take it. The landlord must've thought we were idiots asking about a sink. Luckily there was a sink so we took it and we stayed for 3 years!

This is from last July around the same time. I can't believe Grace used to fit inside my stomach! Some days I miss being able to feel her kick from the inside, but having her here with me is the best!

Since Monday was my sister's birthday I figured today's Way Back When-endsday picture should be of her.
This is from August of 2002 when Cole and I went to visit them when they lived in Colorado. I don't remember where this was though. Maybe Garden of The Gods?

Okay, so this picture isn't way back, but it's from October. I love this picture...Jack's like "um, what are you doing?" and Grace is like "Ahh...my mom's so mean! Put down the camera!"
Where did these babies go? Jackson is so big now and Grace is more toddler like then baby like...wah!

The first time we left the house! Grace was a week old and we went to have her blood drawn to check her bilirubin level and then we went to the Doctor's for a check up. I remember being a nervous wreck about leaving the house. Oh my precious little yellow baby!
