We went to Auntie and Uncle Josh's Sunday to make cookies, here are some pictures from the day!

Let It Snow!

We got lots of snow here this past weekend, as many of you may know. I didn't want to take Grace out in the snow, but wanted pictures of her with the snow, so I did the next best thing to putting her in the snow: propping her up in front of a snowy window.

I did manage to snap one quick picture outside on our way to Auntie and Uncle Josh's house Friday night.

Weekly Weigh In

So, I guess Mondays are going to be my weekly weigh-ins. I did okay the past week, although the past 2 nights I have had some brownies and cookies, tis the season after all, but I made sure I counted them in my daily calorie allowance. My first goal is to lose 10 pounds by 1/11, a month after I started, which should be very doable. As I reach my goals I'll add new ones, just taking baby steps to get where I ultimately want to be!
So, now to the numbers:
3.6 this week
5.9 since 12/11
4.1 more pounds until I reach my first goal
21.9 since before I got pregnant
25.9 since I had Grace

Not Amused

We bought Grace a new toy for Christmas, but of course I didn't want to wait to give it to her, so I took it out for her to play with the other night, I do not think she was amused!

Oh Lily

So, this is how I found Lily the other day


Apparently she didn't want to lay on the comforter, so thought it was best to lay pressed against the headboard with her paws down the edge of the bed. Silly Lily!

Hair?

Grace is finally starting to get some hair, maybe by her first birthday she'll be able to sport a bow!

Could It Be?

So the past few days Miss Grace has been miserable, and I mean Miserable! Well, I just thought maybe she was going through the dreaded 4 month wakeful stage a little early, until Grace's Auntie asked about teething....hmm, could it be? So after another miserable night and day I looked up teething symptoms:
The symptoms most likely to trouble a teether include:
• Drooling (which can lead to a facial rash)
• Gum swelling and sensitivity
• Irritability or fussiness
• Biting behavior
• Refusing food
• Sleep problems

Oh no, she has all of them! So I gave her some Tylenol, let her chew on a cloth diaper, then when she was calmed downed enough I nursed her to sleep. Poor baby girl is so uncomfortable, I wish I could just make her feel better :(

Getting Serious

So I finally decided to buckle down and get serious about losing weight. Well I am happy to report I am down 2.3 pounds since Thursday, down 19 pounds from when I got pregnant, and down 23 since I delivered Grace!

Now, with that being said, I still have a long way to go.
This is me now, virtual of course,

and this is where I want to be.

I'm hoping by documenting this journey and putting it out there for people to read it will help me stay serious and stick to my diet! Oh, and if you want to make a virtual model go here.

Not Me Monday

I did not sit around all day yesterday in my pajamas bra less, and I am definitely not still wearing the same pajamas. *I did at least take a bath.*

I did not think that Grace had pooped in her sleep last night, but decided not to wake her to change her, nope not me! And she definitely did not sleep the night this way.*Fortunately there was in poop in her diaper this morning.*

I did not get mad at Lily for cleaning herself when I was trying to sleep, I definitely know it's a natural thing and let her go to town
I definitely did not have to bite my tongue when the Sears worker refereed to her 6 month old daughter as "a fat ass." Seriously lady? What the hell is wrong with you?

I do not judge people based on their myspace and facebook pictures, nope not me!

I do not secretly want to trip the kids who run up and down the stairs when I'm trying to sleep. I know it would be so wrong to beat up someone much younger than me.

I did not stay up to 4 o'clock in the morning last night, even though Grace went to bed at 9, nope not me!

I do not do jigsaw puzzles online, nope definitely not me!

I definitely am not paranoid that everyone is talking about me. No way I totally got over that in high school.

I do not have awful grammar and I do not always right run-on sentences. I have definitely learned by 24 ,proper English.

I definitely did not use the word definitely a million times in this post and I did not find out using spell check that I spelt it wrong every time.
