Dance Time

On Wednesday Grace had gymnastics and dance! Gymnastics went well, except for the 2nd week in a row I've thought I was going to pass out. Cole and I decided that Wednesday was probably the last gymnastic class I should attend. I guess the standing for 45 minutes is just to much for me now. This makes me really sad because I love watching her progress each week, but I know it's better for both me and the babies.

After gymnastics we came home, had lunch, then got ready for her first dance class. I was still feeling really crappy from gymnastics and I had to go to the Dr.'s after dance, so we decided that Cole would take Grace to dance while I stayed home. Of course before she left for class I snapped a few pictures of my cute little dancer!
So excited!
She was so happy she finally got to wear her new dance shoes.
And because she's goofy, she decided to pretend she was sleeping, while I was taking pictures.

Cole said she did good at dance. There are 7 kids in her dance class, 3 were older and have done dance before she they knew what they were doing; the other 3 clung to their parents; and Grace was in the middle. She didn't cling to Cole or cry for him (the parents are supposed to wait outside of the room, but because it was the first class they let them sit in because they didn't know how the kids would react) but she did kind of cling to the teacher. I guess she was quiet and followed direction but stayed close to the teacher. I don't know everything they did at class but Grace showed me they hopped and walked on their tip toes.

Dr.'s Appointment

I had my 30 week appt. today, my bp looks good and I'm now up 30 pounds, yikes! My OB wants me to do another 24 hour urine, just to make sure I'm not showing signs of Pre-E, like I did with DD. Starting next week we'll see the OB weekly, have a NST weekly, and an u/s every 3-4weeks, yikes! My OB wants me to spread out my appointments so that I'm being seen more often, which means 2-3 appointmennts a week. I'm very happy they're staying on top of things, just trying to squeeze all the appointments makes things a little crazy, but it will be totally worth it.

We're very thankful for another good appointment. At 30 weeks with Grace my bp was really high and I was put on bedrest. Today my bp was 110/68...yay!

As a side note Grace started up gymnastics today and was so happy to be back there! We start dance next Wednesday!!

A-Choo

So today while snuggling with Grace, which was her idea...she now says "snuggle" and pats the spot next to her...who could resist that? Anyways I was snuggling and sneezed, out of no where she says "bess you!" I had no idea she knew to say 'Bless You' or that she could say it. It was so cute, so also replied with a "Thank You" after, she says "thank you" for everything now, whenever she hands you something she says "thank you', because we always say "thank you" when we receive what she is giving to us. God I love her!

In other news Grace had her last gymnastics class for the summer. Her fall classes start up Sept.1st and then dance starts the week after that. Grace was such a champ at class today, she's a pro on the bar and loves it! She was swinging and bringing her feet up to the bar today all on her own! Grace can now even say gymnastics, although it comes out like "nastics"

In pregnancy news, I went shopping today to find a dress to wear to a few of the wedding I have coming up. I was not looking forward to trying to find a dress to fit my belly as well as my plus size frame. I was able to find a cute dress on clearance at Dress Barn today and it was a few size smaller then what I had been. I guess even though I'm gaining weight and my belly is growing,  other areas are shrinking..yeah!

Gymnastics

Grace had her 1st gymnastics class yesterday, and we all had a blast! Cole was the one who decided Grace should take this class, he went and saw the gym, and talked to the owner, so I had no idea what to expect. I just thought it was going to be a toddler play class, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out  it was a beginner gymnastics class. The gym is called Star Dust Gym in East Bridgewater.

The teacher Miss Racheal is fantastic! She had the kids do some stretches, then some running, then they practiced wheel barrels, donkey kicks, hand stands, 2 legged jump, swinging from the bar, jumping into the foam pit...and this was all just in the first class! Grace did a great job and even went to Miss Racheal and let her use her to demonstrate some of the new skills! Grace even was the one who jumped in the foam pit first.

It was so great to see Grace start to open up to others and come out of her shell. We all know she's a crazy, wild woman, but she is so shy around others. Grace has class once a week and on Friday's she can go to open gym if we went, so we'll try to bring her twice a week when possible.

We are trying to get Grace involved with as many activites as possible before the twins come, we don't want her to get lost in the mix. So I'm currently researching and calling Pre Schools, dance classes, and learn to skates. I'm also making appointments for Grace to go to a dentist and an allergist. We're also trying to get Grace into toddler EI group as a community child. We're just trying to get Grace involved in as many things as possible to keep her busy and to try to get her ready for Pre School. In addition to this sometime between now and next fall we need to potty train Grace and get rid of the binkie...oy vey!
