I thought I'd share photos from our uneventful weekend.
Grace and Lily hanging out

Grace giving Lily a hug

We went to the doctor's Friday for Grace's 6 month check up. Everything looks good, she now weighs 20lbs 13.5 oz, which puts her in the 98
th % for weight. Grace had an allergic reaction to green beans the other day which now means she can't have dairy, oatmeal, rice cereal, and now
green beans. The pediatrician said we could have a
blood test done to check for major allergens like wheat, nuts, eggs, but said they can't do a detailed allergy test until 3-4 years old. Cole and I are still trying to decide if the blood test is worth the pain, since Grace will be a hard stick, they will probably have to stick her repeatedly and even then may not get enough to run the test. All the allergens they are testing for we wouldn't give her until 2 or 3 anyways so we don't know if it's worth the torture for her.

Saturday we went to Whole Foods and then stopped in at Cole's Mom's house.
Gracie all smiles

Grace has learned how to drink out of a straw. She likes to suck the water up and then spit it out, she doesn't usually drink much of it.

Grace also can stand with the help of only 1 hand!

Grace and Lily from behind

We picked Grace up some organic, dairy free, wheat free, egg free teething biscuits...she loved them, but they are
sooo messy!

Grace now cries over the camera because I won't let her chew on it.

but she will smile if I blow in her face!

We also tried cutting Cheerios in half to try to work on Grace's pincher grip, but she choose to take the easy way out:
Grace did fine with the Cheerios, but I'm still terrified of her chocking, so I don't imagine I'll be giving them to her all that often.
